When you hire us to create your website and host it there are several things you need to know about the system we employ in order to bring you top-notch results.
When you first contact us, we call this stage the quote. Your information is recorded and our experts determine what is needed to meet the needs of your company. Cost is then calcuated and relayed to you in the form of a proposal or quote response.
When you approve this proposal or quote, we then create an invoice and bill you for the total amount. In order for us to start investing ANY LABOR WHATSOEVER into the project at least 50% of the total quoted amount has to be paid up-front and is non-refundable.
Once you have accepted the terms, price, and have delivered to us all proper documentation we start a two-way forked project:
1. Design - Concepts are created for review
2. Code/CMS - Features are added and developed, functionality created
Once your site reaches a presentable state, you are given a site in which you can login and test-drive your site. During this process you should report all bugs or elements that aren't to you liking. At this point, ALL DEVELOPMENT stops on your site until you either approve both the design and features, or reject them.
If you should not be satisified with any element of your site, mainly the design, the site goes into a rejection state, which goes back to the early Development phase -- this will double your site's estimated live date.
If you should be satisified with the overall progress of your site, all reported bugs/requests will be fixed and your site will be submitted to our Quality Assurance team for final review.
Should your site pass quality assurance, you are then sent an email explaining that your site is ready for release and publication, all that remains is making the final payments on your site.
It is common for a site to fail Quality Assurance tests, however should this happen, you generally aren't notified until the site passes. The site may remain in the QA phase for up to 7 days without notification until we will notify you and explain why there is a delay (Generally due to finding a security exploit or major flaw).
Once all outstanding balances are remedied, your site is then coppied over to our live production server -- changes are made to the site to accomidate its new production enviornment and you are issued an administrator username and password to your website, as well as emails, or other items promised as a result of purchasing the site.
